History

Recons Group was founded in the year 1987 by Mr. Jawahar V. Vora & Mr. Himanshu J. Vora under the name – M/s. Syndicate Builders. The company was then involved in construction related activities along with which it simultaneously started cement distribution business by the name Syndicate Traders. Company soon became a key distributor of Ultratech Cements (formally, L & T cements) for Mumbai.

From 1993 onwards, Recons group acquired the principal distributorship of Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd. Then onwards the group saw huge progress both in-terms of volume of business and turn-over, year after year. Recons group gradually became the distributors for all major cement companies & started serving to top builders & institutions of Mumbai and seven surrounding areas.

Since 1997, Mr. Tejas J. Vora too has joined the group to further strengthen its operations and strategy.

The Group has now started catering to bigger clients like R.M.C., Manufacturers & Major real estate developers. The group with the existing infrastructure has started navigating on a fast track using its excellent marketing skills and strong good-will.

Direct personal contacts developed over the years with well established real estate developers & R.M.C. manufacturers has helped the group to continue its existing business relationship become stronger and healthier over time.
